On this page
Some people use Thpaste for a shopping list. Others run channels where thousands of people open their pastes every week. Creator Mode is for the second group: once your pastes have been opened 1,000 times in total, you can switch it on and get tools built for people with an audience — including a way to earn money from the traffic you already send.
How you unlock it
Every view on every paste you make while signed in counts towards the goal. You can watch your progress on the Creator features page in your dashboard sidebar.
- 1Share pastes from your account
Anything you publish while signed in counts — the website, batch create and the API all add to the same total.
- 2Reach 1,000 total views
A popup tells you the moment you're eligible (and "Maybe later" really means later — it won't nag).
- 3Switch Creator Mode on
One click. The Creator badge appears straight away and the Creator tools light up in Paste Settings.

Perk 1 — the Creator badge
A small ✦ Creator badge appears next to your name on your public profile, in your account menu and next to "by @you" on every one of your pastes. It tells readers they're looking at someone established — and makes your pastes look more trustworthy when they're shared in big groups.
Perk 2 — earn from your pastes with Linkvertise
Linkvertise is a link-monetization service: a reader passes a short ad page before reaching the destination, and you get paid for each visit. Thpaste can build those links for you automatically — using your own publisher ID, so the money goes straight to your Linkvertise account.

There are two ways to use it — turn on either or both:
| Mode | What readers see | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Copy buttons hand out your Linkvertise link | Readers pass your ad page, then land on your paste | Sharing your pastes in channels and groups |
| Links inside your pastes go through Linkvertise | Clicking a link in your paste shows your ad page first, then the link | Pastes that are mostly download or resource links |
- 1Get a Linkvertise account
Sign up at linkvertise.com. Your publisher ID is the number in your Linkvertise links (linkvertise.com/123456/…).
- 2Add it in Paste Settings
Paste the number (or any of your Linkvertise links — Thpaste picks the number out) and save.
- 3Choose the routing
Leave "links inside my pastes" off to monetize only shared links, or tick it to route the links inside your pastes too.
- 4Share as usual
Use the Copy buttons in your dashboard. Your plain Thpaste links keep working for anyone who has them.
Keep both doors open
Your plain thpaste.com link never stops working. Many creators share the Linkvertise version in big public groups and the plain link with close friends or in private channels.
Creators only
You can save a publisher ID at any time, but links are only routed through Linkvertise once Creator Mode is switched on.
Perk 3 — a direct line to the team
Every member can open the Support chat from the dashboard. For Creators it's also the place to tell the team what Creator Mode should do next — Creator feedback goes to the top of the list.

Get to 1,000 views faster
| Tactic | Why it works |
|---|---|
| Make reference pastes (cheat sheets, link lists, rules) | People come back to them again and again |
| Use Markdown or rich text for long posts | Readable pastes get shared more |
| Add your channel link as an automatic signature | Every paste promotes the next one |
| Watch your analytics | Double down on the sources that send readers |
| Make your profile public | Followers see every new public paste in their feed |
FAQ
Does Thpaste take a share of my Linkvertise earnings?
No. The links are built with your publisher ID, so Linkvertise pays you directly under their terms.
Do anonymous pastes count towards the 1,000 views?
No — only pastes made while signed in to your account.
Will readers be annoyed by an ad page?
That's your call, which is why it's opt-in and split into two switches. You can monetize shared links only and leave the links inside your pastes untouched.
