Thpaste started with one promise: paste something, get a short link, done. It still does exactly that in a few seconds — but behind that simple box there's now a full toolkit for writing beautiful documents, sharing privately, reaching readers in their own language and growing an audience. This tour walks through every feature, what it's good for and where to find it.

Start in seconds — no account needed

Open thpaste.com/new, write or paste your content and press Publish paste. That's it: you get a short link you can drop into a chat, an email, a forum post or a QR code.

  1. 1
    Write or paste

Type straight into the editor or paste from anywhere — formatting from Word, Google Docs or a web page comes along, cleaned up.

  2. 2
    Pick who can see it

Unlisted (only people with the link) is the default. Add a password or an expiry if you like.

  3. 3
    Publish and share

You land on your new paste with its short link ready to copy.

Posting anonymously

Anonymous pastes can't be edited or deleted after you publish them, and they don't appear in any dashboard. If you want to fix typos later, see your view counts or delete something, create a free account first — it takes under a minute.

Four ways to write

Every paste has a format, and the editor changes to match it. Switch between them at any time; your text comes along.

Rich text

A word-processor toolbar: fonts, sizes, colours, highlights, alignment, lists and link buttons.

Markdown

Headings, tables, checklists, callout boxes and a table of contents — shown as a clean document.

Code

Syntax highlighting, line numbers, tab indenting and a highlighted preview before you publish.

Plain text

Exactly what you typed, nothing changed — perfect for logs, lists and notes.

Made for the people reading

A paste is only as good as the experience on the other end. Readers get:

  • 🌐 Translation into 133 languages, right on the page — how it works.
  • 🔗 Link previews for every link, with a warning when a link looks dead and file counts for popular storage hosts — details.
  • 📋 One-tap copy of the whole paste, plus a raw text version at thpaste.com/raw/<id>.
  • 📱 A layout that works on phones, and a light or dark theme.
  • No ads or pop-ups on pastes made with the website composer.

A free account turns pastes into a home base

The member dashboard
Your dashboard: total views, pastes, followers and your top pastes at a glance

With a free account, every paste you make lands in your dashboard where you can:

  • ✏️ Edit the title and text of any of your pastes — the link stays the same.
  • 🗑️ Delete pastes whenever you want.
  • 🔗 Give a paste a custom link like thpaste.com/s/team-handbook.
  • 📊 See who's reading: views, unique visitors, countries, devices and where visitors came from — paste analytics.
  • 👤 Build a public profile with a photo and bio, gain followers and follow others — profiles and feed.
  • ⚡ Batch create up to 20 pastes at once and add an automatic signature — batch create.

For creators

When your pastes pass 1,000 views in total, you unlock Creator Mode: a Creator badge across the site, a direct line to the team, and the option to earn from your pastes with your own Linkvertise account. Everything about Creator Mode.

Security you can turn up

Protect your account with two-factor authentication using any authenticator app, keep 10 one-time recovery codes, and sign out every device with one button if something looks wrong. Account security guide.

For developers

Everything you can do on the website, you can automate: create, list, edit and delete pastes, and pull your analytics, with a clean JSON API and up to 10 keys per account. Get started with the API.
