A paste link gets one share. A profile keeps working for you: one address that collects everything you've published, shows people how many others follow you, and lets them follow you too so they never miss your next paste. Here's how Thpaste profiles, followers and the feed fit together.

Your profile, in three parts

A public profile
A public profile: photo, Creator badge, follower counts, bio and public pastes
Photo and username

Upload a photo (resized to a crisp square automatically) and pick a username — 3–24 lowercase letters, numbers or underscores.

Bio

Up to 280 characters of plain text: what you share, where you're based, where else to find you.

Public pastes

Every paste you mark Public appears here, newest first, with its format and view count.

Next to your name, visitors see your followers, following and public pastes counts, plus three buttons: Follow, Share (your phone's share sheet, or the link copied) and Copy link.

Set it up in two minutes

  1. 1
    Open Profile

In your dashboard sidebar, choose Account → Profile.

  2. 2
    Add a photo

Upload a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF up to 8 MB. It's cropped to a square around the most interesting part, shrunk for fast loading, and stripped of hidden metadata like GPS location.

  3. 3
    Choose your username

    It becomes your address: thpaste.com/u/yourname.

  4. 4
Write a bio and go public

Tick "Public profile" and save. Untick it any time to hide the page again.

Your profile is opt-in

Profiles start private. Nothing about you is public until you choose a username and switch the profile on — and switching it off hides the page and your public pastes from the feed straight away.

FAQ

Can people see who follows me?
Profiles show follower and following counts. Your own Following list is visible only to you in your feed.

Do I need a profile to follow people?
You need an account. Your own profile can stay private while you follow others.

Can I change my username later?
Yes, from the Profile page — just remember that links to your old address stop working.
